What is Our Sustainable Wood Program?

Our sustainable wood program is built on responsible forest management and long-term regeneration. We operate an 18-hectare private forest where we plant new trees every year, ensuring continuous afforestation and biodiversity protection. Instead of cutting healthy trees, we use natural forest growth, selective clearing, and replanting cycles to maintain a balanced and renewable ecosystem. This approach guarantees a stable, ethical and traceable supply of biomass.

Upcycling Forest Residues & Local Wood Waste

To further reduce environmental impact, we recover wood residues, branches, and natural forest waste from our land and from neighboring partners. These materials normally burned or left to rot become a valuable feedstock for our kilns. By transforming discarded biomass into high-quality carbon products, we reduce emissions, support circular economy practices, and offer our community a sustainable alternative to waste disposal.

Environmental & Industrial Benefits of Sustainable Biomass

By sourcing 100% sustainable biomass, we ensure clean, responsible production with low carbon footprint and full traceability. Our model combines afforestation, waste recovery, and local partnerships to create a renewable feedstock loop that benefits both the environment and our industrial output. This gives us a strong ESG profile, reduces supply risk, and secures a long-term competitive advantage in the biochar and activated carbon markets.
